User Space

The Annoto User Space is a place that provides a personal journal for the users, as well as gathers all new activity in a course (comments & replies in all videos).

You can enter your User Space directly from the menu bar in the Annoto Widget – the green graph icon:

Clicking on this icon opens the user’s personal space, which includes 2 sections:

  • Activity Feed

  • My Space

The Annoto User Space helps students by reflecting their entire learning activity in Annoto in the course and provides a quick access to all new comments & replies in the video they are following (following a video can be done from the Annoto menu, as you can see in this video).

Activity Feed - See what's new

The activity feed helps users stay updated with everything that interests them :)

In order to get to your Activity Feed (in the user space), click on the Activity graph in the Annoto widget:

Then, on the left side, choose "Feed":

In the activity feed you can see all the latest activity that happened in the Comments space (the Annoto shared environment) in the videos that you are following.

You can see the activity in two aspects:

  • Me – shows only content submitted by you

  • Everyone – shows all the activity in the videos that you are following

Here is an example of what you can see in "Everyone" mode:

My Space

  • Number of comments you added in the Comments Space

  • Number of personal notes you added in the Comments Space

In order to enter My Space in your activity feed, click on the Activity graph in the Annoto widget:
